Miharu Koshi is a Japanese singer-songwriter who began in late-1970s pop, turned to electronic music in the 1980s with Haruomi Hosono as producer, and later to French chanson and European jazz.[1]
Career
Koshi’s first albums appeared from 1979.[1] By the mid-1980s she was working with electronics, and many of her albums, beginning with Tutu (1983, with the Belgian group Telex), were produced by Haruomi Hosono.[1] Later records such as Echo de Miharu (1987) moved towards chanson sung mostly in French; she and Hosono released the joint album Swing Slow in 1996.[1]
